You can get motors for them at any junkyard. I'd do that before I'd get new. Call around and see if any junkyards have one for your make and model.Anyone know how to fix electric windows in a car? Its not the fuse.?Common GM problem with windows. If neither window is working the first thing to check for is a broken wire in the door hinge. There is a little peice of rubber between the door and the body right next to the door hinge when you have the door open. Pull that back and look at the wires in it. Most likely you will find one broken of bare in there. Repair that wire and you should be in good shape. Good Luck!!!Anyone know how to fix electric windows in a car? They just stopped working %26amp; wont roll up. Its not the fuse.?Try this. At night with the dome light on, key in accessory position, try the window switch. If the dome light flicks, then you have current to the window motor. Now remove the door trim panel and with the window switch on, hit the window motor and if this works, it's a bad ground or a bad window motor. Hope this helps.Anyone know how to fix electric windows in a car? They just stopped working %26amp; wont roll up. Its not the fuse.?Remove the driver's side window control panel (assuming it is located in the driver's door) and check to see that no wires have come loose. If they are all still connected, with a meter check for 12 volts to ensure that power is reaching these switches. Because neither window works from the driver's side and the passenger window doesn't work from the passenger switch the chances are good that the problem lies in the driver's side control panel.Anyone know how to fix electric windows in a car? They just stopped working %26amp; wont roll up. Its not the fuse.?Go with Dodge mans answer.he's very knowledgeable. I'm a great mechanic too,but he found me a diagram that I looked for for hours online About a friends Blazer.that my friend tore apart. And then called me to rescue him.

If you hear noise in the door when you press the button, then your window is off track, or a cable came off in the door. If there is no noise and they both went out at the same time then the Dodge man is right.

If the problems didn't occur at the same time try this.

With the key on, open the door. Put your finger on the button to roll the window down and without letting go of the button Slam the door closed. Don't slam it so hard you break the window but to give it a few good jolts. This sometimes will free up a frozen motor. Good luck
