How to use car defroster?

idk if you are supposed to defrost at a cold temp or high temp

does anyone know which is best?

and why doesnt my rear defroster work?

i tried changing fuse but it was a no go

These special flat wires have high resistance that gets it's control from a set timed timer relay. Factory sets them about 7-10 minutes being it's a fairly high load when you hit the button.

and then as the glass warms, it will blend in melting the rest.

If you see any of the wires damaged, then they can be repaired.



Sorry, replacing fuse is a good attempt, but the relay is

usually the problem for it not working.

I think they usually go for $30.



So your best bet is to run out prior to getting dressed, and fire him up.
